Description

Designed to allow you to mount an Acetech AC5000 chrono to the side of a army surplus ammo box without the need to permanently fix it in place. Being able to use the chrono indoors without bb's going everywhere is a big advantage.

Has 4 corner stops so you can't over insert it (these should print without supports). I printed mine in PETG with only 2 walls to allow some flex. This flex helps grip the chrono.

Should fit nearly all large ammo boxes. Could even use smaller tins if you mount it to the side wall instead of the end like i have done.

Installation:

Simply trace around the model where you want to mount it. Then use a HSS drill bit or step drill to drill out the four corners. A Dremel with a cutting disc or a grinder with a cutting/slitting disc to cut between the holes. Clean up the edges and then i used hot glue to fix it to the tin and fill any gaps left by deformities in the ammo tin.
