Description

After we bought a bunch of plastic balls for our toddler's park, I realised there was not much to do with them. So I designed this to pass the time while I babysit and maybe he'll one day enjoy it too and who knows, maybe he'll get into 3d printing :D.

Anyway, I've been having a lot of fun with it and if I may say so myself, I think the net has turned out much much better than I expected.

In order to create the net, you need to attach each chain from the hoop and then each end to it's neighbouring chain in a direction of your choosing, but the direction needs to be the same for all. I attached it from the 5th chain link from the top and the net diameter is exactly the same as the hoop. If you want to make the net diameter smaller, connect it further down.

Finally you can mount it either like I have in the pictures (on the side of the baby park), or on the edge of the surface (e.g. desk) if you use the angled grip.

Consider boosting this model if you found it useful and enjoyed it. It's a massive help for non-professional designers like me in covering for the costs of testing.
