Replacement part for garden folding table

My old folding table (a classic wooden garden table with X-legs) was a nightmare—the legs wouldn’t stay open because the original leg hook was missing! 😫 This tiny but essential plastic part locks the legs in place, and without it, the table wobbles or collapses. After hours of searching for terms like "leg lock," "fixing hook," or "holding bracket" (with zero luck!), I decided to design and 3D-print my own solution—and it works perfectly! 🎉

What this part does: 

✅ Hook-shaped clip that grips the table leg (2–3 cm diameter) and locks it securely in the open position. 

✅ Prevents unexpected collapses—stable, durable, and no more frustration! 

✅ Fits common camping, garden, or folding tables (like the one in my reference pics).

My print settings : 

🔹 Nozzle: 0.4 mm 

🔹 Layer height: 0.2 mm 

🔹 Infill: 30–40% (Gyroid/Cubic for extra strength) 

🔹 Walls: 3–4 layers 

🔹 Temp: 200–210°C (Bed: 60°C) ⏱ Print time: ~90 mins for 2 pieces

Pro tip: Use PLA or PETG for outdoor durability (I printed mine in green to match the wood—looks factory-made! 🌿).
