Tip for Improved NFC Tag Adhesion in PLA Prints:

If you experience adhesion issues after placing the NFC tag, apply a very light mist of hairspray over the tag surface before continuing the print. Some NFC foils do not bond well with PLA, and this thin layer helps improve layer adhesion. Use only a small amount and allow it to dry for approximately 30 seconds before resuming. Avoid over-spraying, as excess residue may affect print quality.

Scaling will affect the NFC sticker hole and ruin the fit. Print them exactly as provided.

How to write your link onto the NFC sticker

Writing to your NFC keychain is super easy — takes less than a minute!

1. Download an NFC app

   Use a free app like NFC Tools (Android/iOS).

2. Open the app and choose “Write”
3. In NFC Tools, tap Write → Add a record → URL / Link — or choose “Social Networks” to pick a specific app (like Instagram, TikTok, etc.) and simply enter your username instead of a full link.

4. Enter your link

   Paste your social media profile link (for example:

   https://www.instagram.com/yourusername or

   https://linktr.ee/yourname)

5. Hold your NFC sticker near your phone’s NFC reader

   When prompted, place the sticker under your phone until the app says “Write complete!”

6. That’s it.

   Stick your programmed NFC tag inside the keychain when the print pauses, hit continue, and enjoy your tap-to-connect link!
