Description

Bowling Abralon Pad holder - This case will hold 7 abralon pads.  The container is 47 MM deep and a 153 mm inside circumference, which means it will hold 6 inch pads for those on the imperial system.  The pads I used are the ebonite pads, labeled as Mirka Abralon.

This can be printed with standard .20 mm layer height without supports.  I suggest using a cold plate or a smooth plate to get smooth surfaces, but will be fine if you use a textured plate.  The printer settings aren't really important.

The lid will stay secured to the top with a small twist(clockwise to lock, counterclockwise to unlock).  There are indicators on the edges to show where the lid lines up with the bottom.

Reach out if you have any questions.

UPDATES - I have recently added a resurfacing tool here : https://makerworld.com/en/models/2029128-bowling-abralon-pad-storage-case-lid-v2#profileId-2188126

And a v2 lid that will allow you to store the resurfacing tool in the Pad Holder - https://makerworld.com/en/models/2029128-bowling-abralon-pad-storage-case-lid-v2#profileId-2188126

If you use the resurfacing tool, make sure to download the alternate lid and they will fit together.

UPDATE 2 - Added a flat bottom version of the pad holder, this just adds a little more filament to the connection area. I haven't had issues with it, but depending on your printer maybe this version works a little better.   Also included the resurfacing tool lid in this file.
