Description

AGV K6s Chin Mount - I needed a chin mount for an upcoming track day and didn't have time to buy one from chin mounts, plus 35$ is pretty steep for something I can make myself and improve on. I used 3M 4991 VHB Adhesive Tape  to mount it to the chin of the helmet. Same stuff that GoPro uses and I've never had that fail.

This should work with all action cameras that use the 3 prong mounting. Linked below is the test footage on my YouTube channel.

FEATURES

Direct 3 Prong Mounting - Eliminates the need for a shoe mount and reduces vibration since its a direct connection

Perfect Fit Geometry - Modeled using a 3D scan of the AGV K6s helmet for a strong connection

Integrated Thumb Screw Nut - Modeled space to accept a M5 x .8 (8mm Nut Hex) nut.

MATERIAL

I used PA-6 CF to print the mount I use on my helmet. This stuff is super ridged, strong, and temp resistant for use in direct sunlight outdoors.

I added profiles for ABS, PETG, and PLA. I would recommend at least PETG, but im sure PLA would work fine.
