Description

This is a replacement part for the Volkswagen beetle gas tank expansion chamber (part no 113201891A). The original part has plastic connectors that tend to break with age, as well as a glued seam that becomes leaky. I've replaced my broken part with this one and the notorious gasoline smell went away.

To make this part at least somewhat airtight, it has to be printed with a lot of walls. I've printed mine with a 0.6mm nozzle, but a 0.4mm should work as well. To be clear: The chamber will probably still leak some air when pressurized, but it should be airtight enough for its intended use.

Use PETG or some other gasoline resistant filament. The holes fit a G3/8" hose connector, I've used 6mm ones.
