Description
Whats needed to build this ?
- The 100W/65W DIY Power bank Modules typically available on Ali-express / e-bay etc. (Model : MYZL-YD24-2.32)
- 6x M3*4*5 mm Heat Set Inserts (installed on the Base to secure the Lid)
- 6x M3x8mm Flathead screws (secure the Lid to the Base)
- 2x M2x6mm screws (to secure the powerbank module/board)
- 3mm thick plexiglass / acrylic sheet, cut to appx 25mm x 20 mm
- 8mm Rubber feet (optional)
- 1.27mm Female Headers & 1.27mm Male Headers (Link Here) (to place the display at a better location). Soldered the lines using a 28AWG wires. - See pictures.
- Batteries
- This is designed for 21700 cells in a - 4S3P pack configuration
- I used the BAK N21700CG-50 cells - 5000mAh - so total pack capacity is 15,000mAh
- To get accurate read-out on the display, you need to set a resistor (R24) based on the capacity (defaults to 10000mAh) - this is optional if you are OK with slightly inaccurate read-out of battery %age on the display.
Fusion design file included (.f3d) - so that you can customize this as you want! Some of the dimensions are parameterized !

I wanted the display to be protected and have a nice rounded face. So used plexiglass. Here is a cross sectional view of how to assemble it.
