This threaded coupler connects two 1-7/8" rigid shop vac hoses (Home Depot brand) together, perfect for extending your dust collection system or creating custom hose configurations.

Print Notes:

• Prints cleanly without supports
• Minor cleanup may be needed at the interior stop/ridge after printing, but this doesn't affect functionality
• Printed in matte orange PLA to match standard shop vac hose color (looks great!)

Tips:

• The coupler works perfectly despite the minor imperfection at the stop
  • NOTE: you can use a modifier to help clean this up or print with support if you prefer it cleaner (see my print photos)
• Test fit with your hoses - threading is snug for a solid connection
• PETG recommended for better durability in shop environments, though PLA works fine

UPDATE: i've been using this now in a dust extraction system for a wood routing CNC and i took the hoses apart to check if anything was stuck in the coupling and it was completely free of debris - just put your best stop face towards the intake side of the hose so the stop imperfections don't cause you any grief!
