Description

I made the superb dual AMS sliding rack.  Although I filled the parts with sand as per the design, I knew it would only be a matter of time before a disaster struck, and I ended up with a disaster.

I decided to make this clamp for the sliding AMS rack - it attaches to 2 of the H2D screw holes on the rear, and makes for a very secure setup with this rack.  Once tightened, it will be impossible for the AMS rack to topple over.

I wanted to make this easy to assemble and remove, so it utilises two of the standard rear panel screw holes.  You will need 2 x self tapping M3 x 14 (or 15)mm screws.  The clamp has two side mounted printed bolts with washers that allows easy installation, adjustment and removal.

The clamp part is a print in place item, and the attached project file has just the right settings to make this print a breeze.  I would recommend a temperature resistant filament (I used ABS), due to the heat generated off the H2D during a print.

I also enclose the fusion project file in case you want to make any changes.
