Description

Looking for a fidget toy that’s not just fun but also a little piece of engineering? This helical gear fidget spinner might be just what you’re after. Designed from scratch and modelled with care, it features four interlocking helical gears that rotate smoothly with minimal friction. It’s a unique take on the classic spinner — ideal for gear lovers, makers, and anyone who appreciates mechanical design.

This spinner isn’t just something to look at — it’s interactive and satisfying to use. Once assembled, the gears mesh together in a way that feels almost hypnotic when spun. Whether you're into 3D printing, gadgets, or just enjoy a good fidget toy, this design is meant to be both functional and fun.

What’s included:

All parts needed to print and assemble the gear spinner

Three file formats: STL, 3MF, and STEP, so you can use whatever suits your workflow best

Designed for easy printing and smooth motion once assembled

Suggested printing tips:

Print at 100% scale

Use PLA, PETG, or ABS depending on your printer

Designed with tight tolerances — no crazy supports required

BloodSteyn: Hi, I believe you added this model to the wrong category, it may be a 3D Printed "PART" but it is not a 3D "PRINTER" Part. May work better if you change it to Toys & Games > Other Toys & Games Let's keep the categories clean, thanks.

Clearly AI designed and never test printed since it is impossible to print the bracket without supports. The print profile is also missing two required axel pins. I redesigned the bracket and added the two missing axel pins to a new print profile. If I have sometime this evening, I'll issue a remix. Update: Looks like remixes are not allowed. Missing Model Parts:not enough axles for all the gears, and fidget didn't even snap together as I thought it would. In fact it didn't even wrap properly around the axle printed. Sorry!
