Description

I am about to embark on a stair renovation project, and as I'm fairly new at modeling, I decided to try my hand at designing a stair tread measuring jig. Excited to share it with the community.

Here’s what’s included:

  • Laser-cut option: SVG file for cutting arms from 6 mm plywood.
  • 3D print option: Full arm design and a split version with connectors for smaller printers. The print profile includes the split arm version with connectors, but STL is available for the full arm as well.
  • Fusion 360 file: Customize it to fit your project needs.

Materials needed:

  • 4 5/16" T-track bolts and knobs (used these from Amazon)

This is one of my first uploads, so feedback is super welcome! If you try it out, let me know how it works for you or share any tweaks you make—I’d love to learn and improve this design with feedback from the community.
