DJI LiDAR NATO Mount for RED Komodo Cameras

Custom-designed NATO rail clamp for mounting the DJI Focus Pro LiDAR onto RED Komodo or Komodo-X cameras when using a gimbal.

The original DJI mounting solution isn’t ideal for compact rigs or gimbal work, so this version allows you to attach the LiDAR using the rod NATO Rail bracket included in the Focus Pro package.

A dedicated cutout at the clamp’s end allows the NATO lock to rise and fully engage, ensuring secure positioning on the rail.

My setup: 
- RED Komodo X with Kipper Tie ND's

- A NATO RAIL raiser mounted on the camera because of the kipper tie's size

- The original Rod NATO Rail bracket included in the Focus Pro Package 

- The printed NATO clamp

- The LiDAR mounted on the clamp with original screws

⚙️ Notes:

• The clamp dimensions are intentionally very close to the NATO rail spec for a tight fit.
• My print feels very slightly loose, but one layer of gaffer’s tape under the screw side corrects the tolerance perfectly.
• Designed for PETG — rigid enough for mounting.
• This setup is made for gimbal work, so you cannot attach a top handle or a monitor in that part of the camera.
