Description

I designed a spinning work platform for my RC truck. I know this can be purchased but my thought was why purchase when I could design and print it. The only part that that needs to be purchased is bearing. Below is a link to the bearing (10pack) I purchased from Amazon for $8. The model has 3 printed parts, the platform (top part), the pin (middle part) and the base (bottom part). The bearing is pushed into the platform and the pin parts. The pin then presses into the base. The pin will not fit all the way through the base, it is designed that way. It is a press fit, push hard to make sure it is firmly into the base.

The Platform is designed for my Traxxas Maxx but from my research should fit other vehicles. If your vehicle doesn't fit let me know and I can modify/design a platform that will work with yours. I have also designed a larger platform for the really large vehicles. The model is available for download as well.

Dimension:

Assembled: 190mm x 190mm x 160mm

Base: 190mm x 190mm x 108mm

Pin: 20mm x 20mm x 40mm

Platform: 150mm x 120mm x 15mm

Platform Long: 200mm x 120mm x15mm

This is the bearing I used:

The model is designed around this specific bearing. The printed parts are designed to be pressed (using your hands, no pressing machines needed) into the bearing. I had all designed it so pin and platform could flipped and pushed in from the bottom of the base for easier storage. There is a picture of it in the stored position.

Let me know if you have problems or questions about it.
