Design Concept

The CF Hummingbird is shown mid-flight, with wings outstretched in sharp crystalline layers and its long beak angled forward. The polygonal facets highlight its delicate, lightweight form, capturing both fragility and energy in a suspended pose.

Purpose

Represents agility, vitality, and elegance within the collection. Its hovering posture contrasts with grounded animals and adds motion and lightness to the avian series.

Printing Recommendations

Use vibrant filaments such as teal, green, or purple to mimic the bird’s iridescence, or metallic shades for a sculptural effect. Supports will be required under the wings and beak. A satin or glossy finish enhances the shimmering quality, while matte tones emphasize the sculptural geometry.

Assembly Instructions

The CF Hummingbird is designed as a single-piece print. After printing, carefully remove supports from the wings and beak to preserve their sharp edges. No further assembly is required.
