Yarn Turntable Fall Leaf
Print Profile(1)

Description
Created another yarn turntable for those avid crocheters and knitters! This time, I decided to make the turntable topper a fall leaf to celebrate autumn time! This turntable is slightly different from my last one; the tip is now detachable, making it easier to travel with.
For this print, you need one 608 2RS bearing. I decided to use these bearings because they are the most commonly used bearings in prints (so you may have some lying around), and they make for an even smoother turntable.
The first plate, labelled “Bearing_test_and_screw”, contains a screw that passes through the inner ring of the bearing, a nut that fits onto the screw after it has been pushed through the bearing, and a test insert for the bearing to drop into. You can print this plate first to ensure all tolerances are correct before printing the larger base and top.
Assembly: After all the parts are printed, insert the screw through the bearing. Once fully through, you can screw the small nut down till it is flush with the bearing (this acts as a spacer between the base and the turning top). Then, you can place the bearing into the base; this may require some force. You can then screw on the tip to the turntable top (this can be secured with superglue if you don't plan on taking it off). Finally, you can screw on the turntable top till it is flush to the nut/spacer.
I've included detailed assembly instructions (with images) for another yarn turntable print, which can be followed for this print as well. This can be found here: https://makerworld.com/en/models/2175211-monstera-leaf-yarn-turntable-v2#profileId-2359784.
Volia! You have your own yarn turntable!
Happy printing and happy fall!
