Description

I couldn’t find a spray can holder that wasn’t either huge (waste oif filament) or flimsy—so I designed my own. This one is small and thin to save filament, print time, and wall space, yet it’s surprisingly sturdy. I’ve been running it in PLA in my workshop with no signs of stress or cracking.

Why it’s handy

  • Open-front ring — Snap the can in/out from the front, so you can mount several holders close together without fighting for space above.
  • Low-material design — Minimal footprint without feeling weak.
  • Flexible mounting — Works with bolt + nut, regular wood screws, or strong double-sided tape. Pick what suits your surface.

Fit & sizing

  • Designed around common 400–500 ml aerosol cans (~65 mm body Ø). Brands vary, so measure your can first or print just one to try.
  • If it’s a bit tight/loose, a ±2–3% uniform scale in your slicer usually dials it in.
  • Tip: before committing to a full wall of them, test the snap fit with one holder at your planned spacing.

Mounting notes

  • Screws: pre-drill if needed and snug, don’t over-torque.
  • Tape: clean/degrease the surface well and press firmly for 30–60 seconds.

Use cases

Workshop walls, tool boards, cabinet doors—anywhere you want quick grab-and-go access to paint, primer, or lubricant cans.
