Poop Funnel for SANNAHED Shadowbox frame
Print Profile(1)

Description
This is a filament funnel for an IKEA SANNAHED frame. It will work with either the large 19", or small 9" frame.
The goal was simple design that blended with the frame that could remain in place.
The inner size of the funnel is chosen to accept the majority of the filament poop sizes that I've experiences so far with my printer. I would have made it to accommodate a 1.5" drill bit, but that ended up being too small. I would have made it to accommodate the 2" drill bit, but that was too big.
Installation: All that is required is to drill a 40mm hole in the outer and inner frames. These are the steps that I used, but there are likely better approaches.
- I disassembled the frame. There is the back piece, inner frame, clear plastic front.
- I located the center of the outer frame, then drilled a pilot hole in it.
- Then I drilled a hole with a 1.5" drill bit, which was the biggest/closest that I had.
- Then I used a Dremel to trim off the remaining material to get the hole to 40mm
- Then I inserted the inner frame, used a pencil to trace (should be in the center of the inner frame), and repeated the drilling/Dremel process. (make sure metal tabs are on the sides, not top/bottom). Handle carefully as the frame is now thin around hole.
- I used a sharpie to color the inside of the drilled holes; the inner frame is the important one.
- Clean all the dust off of every piece with a moist cloth.
- Assemble the frame with the clear plastic + inner frame.
- Insert the “Funnel-Plate” it should slide through both outer and inner frame.
- This can be glued into place so it will not pull out with the funnel.
- The “Funnel-Final” should slide into the plate.
