Description
Hello all Minecraft Dungeons fans or cosplayers, I have completed my first Katana prototype

Infill: The infill and infill pattern apply to all MC-Dungeon 3D weapon models

Katana blade is 82.5 cm long
The individual parts are separated as dovetail joints. While dowels or connectors can be created by assembling the individual parts, the dovetail joint proved most efficient for durability and strength
The prototype was printed with a 0.8mm hardened steel hotend
- PLA Silk Red was used for the blade
- For the handle, PLA Matte black is currently being considered
Despite the 0.8mm hotend, it was printed roughly. The infill revealed it is much heavier than initially expected
A new prototype will be printed once the 0.4mm nozzles arrive
For the print itself, approximately 1 KG of PLA Silk Red is used, and 250g of PLA Matte black for the handle
It is debatable whether carrying a 1.25kg heavy piece is suitable for cosplay. Further prototypes will be developed soon
