Description

I found this Diatone 2019 GT R249+ frame in my parts drawer and remembered I had a blast with it ca 2019-2020 with analogue cameras.
Today I only use DJI O4 Pro and Goggles 3 so i wanted to create a canopy that could fit the camera.

You will need;

4 brass threaded heat-inserts M2x3.5x4 (If you're using PLA this works well, the holes are optimized for it. Other sizes may be better for TPU)
8 M2x7 screws for canopy and O4 Pro air unit.

4 M2x5 screws for the camera.
I've tested TPU for AMS as well and it works but strangely feels more brittle than PLA.
The canopy weighs around 14g in total.

The inserts are for securing the canopy to the frame. The air unit and camera only uses screws.

The air unit and camera holds the two canopy sides together and its a bit fiddly to get it assembled the first time.
I use a ELRS external receiver which fits behind the air unit against the back.

It's designed to take a FC/ESC stack and not only a AIO FC.
