- Wooden Dowels 22mm x 6:
Description
This is my very first 3D model designed in Fusion 360 🎉
I’m still a beginner, so I know it’s not perfect — but I really wanted to share it here in case it inspires someone else who’s just getting started.
The model is a modular desk shelf, inspired by a reel I saw on Instagram where someone built a similar wooden dowel-based stand.
I loved the idea and decided to recreate it, adding my own proportions and details.
The design is fully modular – the legs connect through Ø22 mm wooden dowels, and you can attach all sorts of accessories onto them.
For now, I’ve only included the main structure (legs), but I plan to add more parts soon, such as:
- a phone holder,
- a small tray for items,
- drawers,
- and various clips or attachments that slide into the side slots of the legs.
I’ll keep improving this design and uploading new versions when I have more free time (I’m quite busy with work lately 😅).
In my case, the wooden dowels were not perfectly 22 mm – some measured as low as 21.5 mm at the ends – so I designed the side legs to be a bit snug to make sure they stay firmly in place without wobbling.
I printed them in BBL PLA Basic Black and they are really sturdy.
💡 If you print or remix it, I’d love to see your results — any feedback is more than welcome!
