Design Concept

The CF Megaloceros highlights the grandeur of the “giant deer” with a faceted crystalline structure. Its most striking feature—the enormous antlers—are rendered in sharp angular planes, spreading wide like branching shards of crystal. The strong, upright posture on a faceted base emphasizes majesty and presence, giving it the look of both a guardian and a monument.

Purpose

This piece embodies nobility and wilderness power, representing one of the most iconic Ice Age herbivores. It pairs perfectly with the CF Mammoth and Dire Wolf to form a cohesive prehistoric collection, balancing predators with majestic prey species.

Printing Recommendations

A matte stone-grey or marble filament captures its ancient monument-like quality. For more dramatic contrast, metallic bronze or copper filaments highlight the angular antlers beautifully. Supports will be needed under the extended antlers but have been designed to minimize post-processing effort.

Assembly Instructions

The CF Megaloceros is a single-piece print with integrated base for stability. Once printed, light sanding around the antlers and base is recommended. A matte or satin varnish will enhance the crystalline facets and protect the delicate antler details.
