Trypticon is a Decepticon Titan from the Generation 1 continuity family. Oh no, there goes Tokyo, Go go Godzilla, yeah. Enormous in both size and power, Trypticon is an unstoppable engine of destruction.

Trypticon has different origin stories, but he was often created or awakened by the Decepticons as a weapon against the Autobots, particularly to counter Metroplex. In Generation 1, the Constructicons built him from a human city as a transforming city/dinosaur-like robot to destroy the Autobot base at the Ark, culminating in a battle with Metroplex. In other continuities, like IDW Publishing's comics, he was an ancient, prehistoric creature imprisoned beneath Cybertron's surface who was later awakened and infused with intelligent life by the Decepticons.
