Description

Blank-Man: The Origin [No. 1] (Design Your Own Character/Figure)

A fully articulated voxel-style blank figure, designed so you can use your creativity and make it your own.

Use Bambu Studio’s paint tools, SVG imports, text editing features, etc to add your own costume, logo, or details — turn this blank figure into a superhero, soldier, robot, or even yourself…… Very crude example sketch shown in my pictures.

This figure uses my new print-in-place body system, giving full articulation in the head, shoulders, elbows, hips, knees — all straight off the plate, no assembly needed.

Whether you print it plain or go all-out with custom colours, this is the perfect base for your next creation.

If you print one, please share — I’d love to see what you come up with!

Big thanks to @CBA3DP for the suggestion!

Features

  • Fully articulated print-in-place body
  • Customisable in Bambu Studio using paint tools, SVGs, text editing, etc
  • Works great in PLA or PETG
  • Prints as a single piece – no assembly required
  • Suitable for AMS and non-AMS users
  • NOTE: Body needs to be printed in the orientation in the print file (there are custom break-free supports inside for the joints)

This model is part of an ongoing exploration into 3D-printed articulation. Each entry in the "Blank" series is a distinct, standalone engineering project—built from the ground up to test specific mechanical functions (such as print-in-place tolerances, magnetic integration, or advanced joint ranges). Unlike a simple version update, each "Blank Man" offers a different logic and play-style for the community to explore.
