Chest of Superior Tracking - Dwarven Theme - ZH116

Description

The Chest of Superior Tracking

Crowdfunding Reward - 4 Core Theme Bundle

This is a temporary model listing created as a workaround to the ongoing Item Reward Tier technical problems on MakerWorld - This is not how I intended to deliver the new themes for The Chest of Superior Tracking, however, this workaround gets the promised rewards in your hands!

This Bundle contains print profiles for All of the New Themes, Including the Stretch Goal Themes, The Modules Stretch Goal, AND the Rolling Mat Inserts Stretch Goal.

Everything you need to know about Printing, Assembly and Customisation can be found in the PDF Documentation.

Modularity and Customisation

If you like what you see but wish to make a few changes to suit your character, you can build your own cover plates right in Bambu Studio. The new Print Profiles allow you to customise number dial placement and add your own labels. Cover plates are also non-permanent, so why not create a few sets for different characters?

If you desire more numbered dials or more toggle switches than the standard layout provides, then you can ditch the notebook storage space in favour of an additional 5 rows of dials and switches! Using the “Modular Layout” Main Body, and the Modules Print Profile, you can create a Superior Chest of Superior Tracking!

Everything you need to know about customisation and guidance on how use the tools provided in the Print Profile can be found in the PDF Documentation attached to this model.

Notes on AMS and Non-AMS Printing

The Print Profile for this chest of superior tracking is set up for AMS printing, however, that doesn't mean an AMS is required. Decorative Panels come in two types; Textured and Flush. The Textured decorative panels are designed to able to print using manual filament swaps for Non-AMS users. Simply add a pause in the slicer when you want to change colour. Below are some Theme specific tips for printing without an AMS:

Elven Theme:

The Wings are best printed with an AMS but with a bit of rearranging they can be printed without an AMS. The Wings are comprised of several sub-parts that can be separated in Bambu Studio for non-AMS printing. In this theme, The Tree design and surrounding rings can be separated for Non-AMS printing.

Wizard Theme:

The Wings are best printed with an AMS but with a bit of rearranging they can be printed without an AMS. The Wings are comprised of several sub-parts that can be separated in Bambu Studio for non-AMS printing. In this theme, The Windows on the wings can be separated for Non-AMS printing, while everything else can be done using manual filament swapping.

Necromancer Theme:

The Wings are best printed with an AMS but with a bit of rearranging they can be printed without an AMS. The Wings are comprised of several sub-parts that can be separated in Bambu Studio for non-AMS printing. In this theme, The Candle Flames on the wings can be separated for Non-AMS printing, while everything else can be done using manual filament swapping.

Dragon Theme:

The Dragon decoration on the top of the chest is best printed with an AMS, however, Plate 12 provides a separate dragon face with separated teeth and eyes for Non-AMS printing. Simply remove the dragon face, teeth, and eyes from Plate 11 to leave only the mounting panel. This can be printed using a manual filament swap, the separated dragon face can then be glued to this panel.

Artificer Theme:

This Theme features gems embedded on the corners of the chest. These are printed separately to be AMS (and Non-AMS) friendly. There are no flush print decorative panels for this theme since texture is important to the aesthetic.

Paladin Theme:

This theme features an in-set crest on top of the wings. If you're printing without an AMS, this crest is provided separately for a manual pause and filament swap. Just be sure to remove the crest from the wings to leave a space for your separately printed crest.
