Trypanohyncha Ocellus Sheep Eye Alien Earth AMS
Print Profile(2)

Description
Hello Alien Fans,
we watched the series Alien Earth and found the eye creature: Species 64 or Trypanohyncha Ocellus particularly interesting
I have already uploaded the T. Ocellus as a colored AMS version
You can find the print profile here: https://makerworld.com/de/models/1838594-trypanohyncha-ocellus-alien-colored-ams-version#profileId-1964006
I really wanted to recreate the movie scene where the T. Ocellus infects the sheep and nests in its eye as a 3D Printed model
So I wanted to create a sheep that was infected by Species 64
I played around with the AI's functions a bit, and the result is this cool, multi-colored Alien sheep infected by Species 64
I have no talent at all for hand-painting single-color 3D Printed models, so I colored my designed creature over several days of detailed work using only the freehand tool. You might have to push yourself a bit, as the print will take a little longer, but the AMS will conjure a perfectly colored print. Simply “Out of the Printer” with no further manual work
I am very much a perfectionist here and place great importance on perfect coloring, which is why I invested a lot of time in coloring to meet my own standards
I think the photos speak for themselves. Take a look at the sheep; it's just waiting to move in with you as a decoration
The sheep is approx 10cm high, 7cm wide, and 9 cm long
You can choose to have either the right or left eye infected by the T. Ocellus. Simply mirror the object in the slicer across the X-axis if you want it on the other side. For simplicity, I have created a separate print profile for the left eye. So feel free to choose

The Alien sheep requires supports for printing. Take your time and remove them very carefully, especially where the tentacles are thinner, as there is a risk of breaking something off. So be patient and apply your best touch
Also, be careful on the underside not to accidentally mistake a leg for a support
A rotating multi-tool also helped me to carefully detach the support points piece by piece and to smooth the hooves which ensure a stable stand
I strongly advise against scaling the sheep down, because the supports will then be even harder to remove and the tentacles will become even thinner
I also wanted to save time and made a test print scaled down to 60%, and a tentacle broke off when removing the supports
Therefore, I can say from experience that scaling down makes things considerably more difficult
Boost Me (for free)
Do you like the Ocellus sheep? I would be happy about a free boost
Feel free to share your print results with me, I look forward to seeing my print profile brought to life
