UPDATE: I’ve included the STEP files in case anyone wants to adjust or remix the design. If the changes are very minor, please upload them as a print profile. I also added a one-piece version with no joints. At the moment it does not fit on any Bambu printer, but I uploaded it anyway in case someone finds it useful.

❓What is it?:
A bottom plate shield for Bambu Lab P1S, P1P and X1C.
It protects the exposed belts and idler pulleys from dust, dirt, debris… and even pet hair (my cat’s somehow always ended up there).
🧾Bill of Materials:
- x10 M3x10mm screws (8-16mm work too)
x3 M3x25mm countersunk screws.
Alternative: x3 original transport locking screws (they also work, but they’ll stick out a bit inside the printer)
🔧How to install?:
- Print all plate parts.
- Join them with the M3x10mm screws. Don’t overtighten, you’re threading into plastic.
- Remove the glass top from the printer, then carefully lay the printer on its side.
- Fix the plate using the 3 M3x25mm countersunk screws.
