Model Description

Here is my very first 3D model, designed with Blender. I am new to modeling and had just received my printer. It took me two prototypes before getting a functional result

This cable protector was designed to reinforce and stiffen the charger plug of my Dell Inspiron 15, because my PC was no longer charging properly when the plug was bent. Thanks to this support, the plug remains straight and protected, which extends the charger's lifespan

🔧 Printing & post-processing :

  • Printed with Bambu matte white PLA filament
  • Supports are necessary for successful printing
  • After printing, the supports inside the cylinder must be removed (a small screwdriver or thin rod is very useful)

⚠️⚠️⚠️Usage⚠️⚠️⚠️

The charger is not intended for the PC when closed, only when it is open or when you are using it :) not practical I know, but I don't know how to do better? Any ideas?

I am sure there are still possible improvements, both in terms of function and aesthetics. Feel free to share your feedback and advice, I am completely open to it! 🙏
