Before use, the outer wall of the compression column and the inner wall of the base can be slightly polished to prevent cutting the water beads, which might affect the test values.

First, place the base on an electronic scale or any pressure-sensitive scale, then place a single water bead into the slot, then insert the compression rod into the slot, and use the compression rod to press the water bead in the base. During this process, you can hold the base with your hand to ensure stability. Finally, note the reading on the scale when you clearly feel the water bead break.

Note: This tool can only measure an approximate range and not an accurate value.
