Printed at 0.20mm instead of 0.16mm, came out excellent. Still have to sand it and perhaps put some hockey grip tape on the handles. I hope it holds up well to abuse on the Nordschleife!
P.S. will chime in on how durable it is after a few weeks of use, but at 15% gyroid infill the overall structure, once screwed together, feels good. Hopefully the author can also let us know how well the wheel has held up for him so far?
second time printing this wheel in the last year, misplaced the first one after moving. still a pain to print without failing, then it comes down to support removal. I was successful after one failure on the center piece. The pain from support removal was consuming to say the least. But I’m pleased with this design besides the headache lol. thank you again 🙏🏻 oh also I didn’t use the provided profile due to printing on an A1 mini so I will share my print profile. doing a calibration bed level does seem to make this print come out better if you run it first from my experience.
no chance to print it, some of the first layers seem to be not be on the build plate.
usually I can print everything, unfortunately this is not possible for me.
