Garmin zūmo XT2 Adapter for Peak Design Brake/Clutch Mount
This is an improved version of the first adapter for Peak Design Brake/Clutch Mount, which makes it possible to adjust the angle.
Why might you need this?
If you have a bike like the KYMCO AK 550 Premium, you are already aware that the possibilities of installing a phone holder are very limited without drilling the bike parts. In my case, I have a GPS holder like below, which is carrying a Garmin zūmo XT2 locking power adapter all the time, while I'm driving in the city, and I don't use my navigator often. So, I decided to make this adapter family(this model is my first solution) to take advantage of my Peak Design Mount.

Anyway, if you are like me, feel free to try it. I am personally satisfied.
Is it safe enough?
Well, I tested it with 5 different printed positions and found the best printing angle. I do not recommend PLA; in my tests, I've used PETG, which works fine. Then, decided to buy a PETG CF for better results. Maybe you have a better idea, you can share with others. Please always be careful not to damage your phone in the final.
How to install?
We need these parts as extras:
- 2 x 6mm Nuts
2 M6 Screws (PD Mount has it in the box)
Also need these from our product boxes:
- Mid part of the Garmin ball mount
Upper part of the PD Brake/Clutch Mount
Take the PD phone holder, place it on the print, and then push the screw inside, and at the same time, meet with the nuts on the other side. Tighten them carefully not to hurt the patterns.
⚠️ Tighten your screws strongly enough(not too much), and I recommend using LockTight.
