👽 Tyranid Carnifex Trophy Head – WH40K Tournament Prize
This is a mounted Tyranid Carnifex head trophy, sculpted in Nomad Sculpt, created as a unique WH40K tournament prize.
🛠️ Features:
- Captures the feral, alien details of a Carnifex head, with ridged carapace and monstrous mandibles
- Mounted on a trophy-style plaque, styled like a hunter’s prize for a grimdark display piece
- Scaled as a desk or shelf decoration, commemorating victories or serving as a thematic collectible
🖨️ Printing Notes:
- The print profile includes several multicolor split assemblies for those who want to experiment with filament swaps or AMS printing
- However, I recommend printing it in a high-quality PLA and painting afterward—this gives much more control over color blending, shading, and weathering effects
- Prints best at a larger scale to preserve details in the carapace and mandibles
- Works especially well in marble PLA or other textured filaments if you want a raw print finish before painting
This trophy head makes for a striking tournament prize or display piece, perfectly embodying the grimdark aesthetic of the WH40K universe.
EDIT:
New pieces were added for a Hive tyrant and a new Carnifex. These were made using Makerlabs Image to 3d tool for the heads. the new shield and plaques were made with Nomad sculpt. My buddy is painting 'em up so stay tuned for new pics!
