📝 Description:

Here is an original lamp inspired by the mechanical world 🔧⚙️.
The base is composed of gears, topped with a twisted connecting rod and a piston that directly accommodates the Bambu LED kit 001 💡.

👉 Easy printing, but an even nicer result with metallic filaments (bronze, aluminum, steel, copper...), to give a realistic effect to the gears and connecting rod.
💡 Tip: perform a color change at 12.2 mm to create an elegant contrast (example: bronze base / metallic gray piston).

📖 Quick assembly guide

1️⃣ Assemble the 3 segments of the base (no particular order).

2️⃣ Insert the axle into the connecting rod head.

3️⃣ Slide the Bambu LED kit 001 into the piston until it stops.

4️⃣ Add the shimming plate, making sure the cable passes through the slot.

5️⃣ Position the piston on the axle (caution: respect the internal shape, it should fit without forcing).

6️⃣ Secure with screws (hand tightening is sufficient).

7️⃣ Route the cable along the connecting rod, into the 3 designated notches.

And there you have it, a beautiful mechanical lamp ready to illuminate your office or workshop! 💡⚙️

🛠️ Tips for perfect adhesion in 3D printing:

Thoroughly clean your build plate before each print. Grease residues, dust, or fingerprints can impair adhesion and cause detachments.

Check the build plate calibration: a well-leveled plate ensures a uniform and well-adhered first layer.

Use an appropriate adhesion surface: depending on your material, apply a thin layer of glue stick, an adhesive spray, or a specific tape (e.g., Kapton, BuildTak).

Correctly set the build plate temperature to promote adhesion depending on the material used (PLA, ABS, PETG, etc.).

Reduce the printing speed of the first layer: a slower speed allows for better filament adhesion to the build plate.

Include a « skirt » or « brim » in your slicer to stabilize the first layer and limit warping.
