Description

Welcome back witches and wizards!

It's halloween time again and I prepared some models!

I've always wanted to use the tiny LEDs with megnetic switch for some earrings, so here are some jack o lantern earrings for halloween!

Of course you can also use them as keychain, necklace, decoration and so on!

How to make it glow?

Just buy the KC015 LED with magnetic switch in warm white (KC015) or red (KC006) (I find that warm white look best) and insert them with the LED facing down into the print (listed in the parts list below. You only need one LED per pumpkin, if you make 2  I suggest 2 LEDs).

Some of you mentioned, that the LED does barely fit into the hole. It seems like the LED don't have the exact same size all, they are listed with a diameter of 7.5mm and the hole has 8.5mm. If your LED doesn't fit at all i suggest scaling the file up to 105% size, but of course both parts.

Since the LEDs are sold out on bambu lab page, I suggest these ones from aliexpress, i tested them and the work the same.

How to print?

Just use my profile. I used 0.12mm layer height for high details and concentric infill for optimal glow effect. You will need some tree supports for the mouth.

Have fun with it and please leave a make with a pic how you use them and an honest rating!

Boost Me (for free)

If you want to support me I would be very grateful for a boost to help me out with filament or glowing LEDs :)

Note: The pic with the woman wearing it as an earring is AI generated, but only because I don't have someone with ear holes to act as a model. AI used a photo of the actual printed pumpkin. The model itself was completely designed, prototyped and tested my me in CAD without AI. All other images are real photos.

SPECIAL THANKS to @n3crovicio who designed this cool holder for the earrings.

Have a look at my other halloween models
