It can be inconvenient to pack and unpack your bow for quick trips in the car. If you're looking for a convenient solution, try the Bow Beam!

The Bow Beam is a bow hanger that mounts directly to the headrest of your car!

Is your headrest unable to be removed? Not a problem! The Bow beam features a twist lock system that has you turn it 90 degrees to slide it between the headrest bar before twisting it back to snap it in place. Lower your headrest on top to further cement it in place. 

Not traveling with a bow? Simply reverse the process and easily remove it to store and put away. Want to keep it in the car? Easily turn the Bow Beam to fit snugly up against or under the headrest. 

A perfect gift for a hunter in your life! Alternatively, feel free to utilize the bow beam for alternative uses such as hanging groceries, bags, or miscellaneous supplies!

The default print profile prints in PLA, which is suitable if you are not intending to keep it inside your car at all times (although I have been keeping mine in the car as a test and it has held up nicely). However, if you are seeking greater strength or heat durability, I would recommend printing in a stronger material such as PETG. 

Please Note: There are 3 size options for this model. Standard headrest bars vary between 10-14mm in diameter. As such, 3 variations exist - Standard 12mm, Large 14m, and Small 10mm. Please measure your headrest bar prior to printing for guaranteed results. Alternatively, print the Large and simple add some padding along the inside (e.g., with electrical tape).

Three print profile options: 

1. The first is a simple one color design.
2. The second allows you to print the “Bow Beam” text in a seperate color, but this profile requires the use of an AMS. 
3. EDIT 10-21-2025: Third profile called “Extra Strength Version.” It has 10 walls, 85% infill, and includes a cross insert to add extra wall strength. I've tested it holding 11lbs of weight with no bending or bowing. It is tough.
4. EDIT 10-27-2025: Fourth profile for Matthew's brand bow that allows for a better fit for these specific bows. It features a thinner overall beam width (13.8mm) and lower height of the stopper (28mm from base).
