Description

These boxes/inserts are desgined for dividing drawers for example of the IKEA MALM furniture.

However, they are also suitable for other furniture or drawers, or for storing any kind of stuff.

The walls of the inserts have a honeycomb mesh structure. This saves filament. In addition, the open wall structure allows air to circulate, making the boxes suitable for socks, underwear, etc.

My IKEA MALM chest of drawers has an internal width of approximately 71.5 cm and a depth of approximately 42.5 cm.
The greatest common divisor between (rounded down) 70 and 42 is 7.
This means that compartments with a width/depth that is a multiple of 7 can be combined.
The following are therefore available (external dimensions - width x depth / depth x width):

14x7
14x14
7x21
14x21

The height of the MALM drawer is approximately 16 cm. The height of the boxes on offer is approximately 7 cm. This means that, in theory, two levels of inserts can be placed in tray.

Disclaimer:

Due to the filament-saving honeycomb structure, the walls are not particularly sturdy.
The box will break if lateral pressure is applied or if it is lifted while containing heavy items.
