Traxxas X-Maxx Battery Compartment with Hook-and-Loop Fastener – 3D Printed Part (2-piece, ABS)

This 3D model consists of two precisely fitting parts specially designed for the Traxxas X-Maxx. It provides a stable battery compartment with a hook-and-loop system for secure attachment of LiPo batteries – ideal for tough off-road use and jumps.

Features:

• 2-piece construction for easy assembly and maximum stability
• Each part has 10 mounting holes
• For assembly, 10 M3 x 8 mm screws and 10 M3 nuts are required per part
• Hook-and-loop fastener system for quick and secure battery fixation
• Robust wall thickness for high load capacity
• Suitable for various battery sizes – the hook-and-loop system adapts flexibly

Assembly instructions:

• Place the printed parts directly into the designated area in the chassis
• Use the existing drill guides as a template
• Drill directly through the parts into the chassis with a 3 mm drill bit
• Then, the hook-and-loop straps must be inserted before the parts are screwed together
• 2 hook-and-loop straps are required per side – each 2 cm x 26 cm
• Then fasten with M3 pan head screws (button head, 8 mm length) and M3 nuts

Tip: Pan head screws with a wide contact surface are ideal for 3D printed parts and prevent sinking into the material. Stainless steel or galvanized steel offers good rust protection.
