Description

This great video from CNC KitchenSeriously the BEST $2 3D printer upgrade! will show you why you want this awesome mod! Significantly decreased noise levels, improved print quality and printer longevity. You can use other kinds of anti-vibration under the concrete block but this is the best looking I think. Also 8 of these Anti-Vibration feet from Bambu should be pretty perfectly adapted since 4 are meant for Printer + AMS = 17+ kg  which is the same weight as a concrete block with dimmension 400x400x50mm that fits perfectly under the X1 / P1. Choosing a smaller block could be beneficial for use with smaller printers.

3 and 4 feet per corner options now avaiable for heavier setups.

Requires

Only one set of Anti-Vibration feet from Bambu since the package contain 8 pcs.

Alternatively this or this or this model - printed in TPU or alike. Note: Not sure how they compare in performance.

I used thick CA / Super glue to attach them. Not much is needed since it's mostly for convenience when lifting the block.

Hot glue would also do great.

Avoid having vibrating printer connected to stationary poop chute. Check out my Vibration Isolated Poop Chute that magnetically attaches to the printer.

There is a 1mm layer (5 print layers) between the top of the feet and the concrete so no wear will occur. The depth of the hole for the feet insert are perfectly adapted so that first when foot is compressed most of the way, then it starts to make contact in between the 6 “pads” where the 6 splines make contact. Otherwise it could wear eventually. The fit is also perfect.

No support. (except two tiny ones on the zip-tie loop version)

Hope you like it!
