Description

💣 Shockwave Grenade Lamp – Fortnite Inspired

A custom lamp modeled after the iconic Shockwave Grenade from Fortnite. Designed to integrate the Bambu Lab light and assembled using the included screws, this piece blends gaming aesthetics with functional lighting.

🛠️ Assembly & Printing Tips

  • The lamp is split into two main halves, which can be glued together.
Two alignment pins ensure perfect positioning.
  • Includes two separate print beds for the large rocks.
This helps avoid printing issues—especially with translucent PLA, which sometimes doesn't adhere well to the print bed.

🎨 Finishing Process

  • The main body was sanded and coated with primer.
I applied a black base coat, then used a sponge with silver paint to add subtle strokes and taps—creating a worn metallic effect true to Fortnite’s style.

💡 Lighting & Materials

  • Rocks are printed in translucent purple PLA to let the light shine through.
Regular PLA works too, but the glow is softer.
  • Be gentle when inserting the large rocks.
The feet are fragile and can break easily, so work your way around slowly and carefully to avoid damage.
