Description
Mouse and cheese Lacing game designed for and with early years and SEN Teachers to promote:
- Fine motor and pincer grasp practice through repetitive threading and varied hole sizes
- Bilateral coordination and hand separation required to hold the card with one hand while threading with the other, supporting pre-writing skills
- Sensory, concentration, and sequencing practice aligns with Montessori emphasis on purposeful, hands-on materials that support independence
Mouse assembly:
- thread string / shoe lace through hole at the back of clip
- tie knot at the “mouse” end of string
- insert knot and clip into hole at the back of “mouse” - clip will “click” in place securing string in place
