Allcock Aerial C815 Line Arbour

This arbour will reduce line kinking and increase retrieval rate on your post-war Allcock Aerial C815. Each of the six segments clips easily onto the line pillars of your Aerial, to provide a smooth circular profile for the line to wrap around. It also increases the circumference of the line drum, which will increase the line retrieval per revolution.

There are print profiles for 3¾ and 4½ inch C815 Aerials. Each print profile contains a selection of arbours of different diameter. The weight penalty is fairly negligible, ranging from 15g - 40g. Two of the segments in each size have a small notch on the top to allow for the handle rivets, and each segment contains a small slot on the side for a screwdriver to make removal easy.

Update 22nd October 2025: I have added a ribbed top to the arbour that should conform better to small variations in distance between flanges. I also think it improves appearance. The pillar clips have also been improved to grip better, while still being easily removable.

Update 26th October 2025: I have reconfigured the 3¾" arbours with a diagonal join instead of vertical, and added an arbour with clock numerals.
