The exoskeleton arm gauntlet 3.0 has been in the works for a long time. The September 3rd military parade made my blood boil, but I was always away and had no time, so as soon as I had free time, I worked four all-nighters to make 3.0. The printed samples were all in Ludicrous Mode, so the print quality isn't great, and the images might have some flaws, but the articulation and strength tests had no issues. The next 'cake' (plan/development) will be accessories and 4.0. Thank you all for your likes, downloads, and boosts!

Regarding 3.0's upgrade and TPU usage reasons

Influenced by a certain expert who has deeply developed TPU material performance, I started trying to use this material in my designs to solve the problems encountered in 2.0

Firstly, as a flexible material, I initially only wanted to improve wearing comfort. Contact with this soft and elastic material is definitely more comfortable than with hard, cold PETG, and it also solved the problem of the fragile spring arm in 2.0

Secondly, the biggest flaw for 2.0 or printed screws. To ensure everyone can print successfully, the clearance fit for the screws I used was relatively large, so even a slight vibration would cause the screws to loosen and parts to fall off. However, TPU screws do not have this problem. The highly tough TPU material simultaneously solved the three biggest problems: easy loosening, low strength, and screws being too tight to thread in. This is currently the best printed screw solution I have found.

Thirdly, properly utilizing the material toughness of TPU can greatly reduce the use of tiny joints, significantly lowering the difficulty of installation and reducing fragile small parts

Finally, regarding the most complained about hand/arm separation problem in 2.0, this time 3.0 has also been upgraded, adopting an integrated design

The upgrade for the hand only involves changing the claw shape, and the first joint of the claw is the same as the 2.0 interface. If you like, you can replace it with the flat-head version yourself

Because of the tight schedule this time, some accessories and refined aesthetic modifications might be added later. 3.0 is my first exploration of TPU material, so if there are significant structural changes later, I might directly start 4.0. Anyway, let's plan it out first
