Description
I designed this iPhone 16 Pro Max charging base for my Wife. She wanted a simple and clean look to sit on her bedside table and charge her phone without hassling around with the USB cable.
This stand hides the cable under itself, and I've embedded a small notch to hold the plug end secure in the base so she can just set the phone into the cradle and remove it after very easy.
Her phone has a case on it, and there is some tolerance, but a heavy-duty case will probably not fit into it correctly.
To install the cable, simply insert the USB-C end up from the bottom, and pull it up, then pull it back down to seat it into the saddle. Then just press the cable into the debossed channel to hold the whole thing in place. Her cable is a fairly thick diameter, so most cables should fit. I've tested about 6 different versions of USB cables that we had lying around the house, and all but one of them fit perfectly (One brand had an extra thick guard on the end and didn't fit through the port). You can secure a smaller diameter cable into the channel with double sided or electrical tape if there is too large of a gap.
Model is printed in Bambu PLA Matte Brown.
