Description
Made for request. It is two-piece ankle trainer/balancer set suitable also for rehabilitation. First part is stable, you should put it under your tip like support while second part is under heel with the protrusion facing floor. Top surfaces are in equal height and you can bend your ankle to sides. That´s all.
I´ve made it from PLA setting 7 walls and gyroid infill different density to achieve strong result. It is okay with more than 70kg, more I was unable to test, but I think it can withstand more. My print lasted 6h15min, because of the gyroid infill. In my opinion nothing happens when triangles infill used, but decrease printing time. Support part doesn´t need as much density as balancing part. 20% is enough unlike 30% in balancing part, in which is also a cone of 70% infill density above the protrusion and a cylinder of 80% infill density straight in the protrusion to avoid deformation. Please, do not remove or move the cylinder or cone before slicing. I recommend to wait some time to cool down the printed model before removing from plate as well. If you manipulate with it while it is even warm, it deforms easily. Don´t worry, after cooling down it is considerably strong :)
You know that feedback helps me, so I´ll be happy for some likes, boosts and comments.
