Description

A rack shelf to build your own NAS within a 10" rack by adding four 2.5" SSD ors mechanical drives. Designed to suit my LabRax 3D printable rack system.

Check out my Youtube video for the full parts list and assembly guide.

Drives are held into each tray using four low profile (or countersunk) M3 screws. SATA connectors and bracket are held in place with M3x8mm button head screws.

Works well, I only had to adjust the length for my rack!

The prints came out well and hold my drives firmly. I enjoyed sinking the heat inserts and the assembly of the SATA interfaces. Finally it got mounted in my HomeLab rack ready for me to commission the NAS with 4x 1TB drives. Thank you.

This looks great. Looking forward to printing it. I live in a hot place and concerned about temperature of the ssd's. I'm wondering if it's possible to print the ssd caddies with a mesh base to allow better airflow? Cheers

Awesome Print, However I did not follow the Directions and bought the Adapters instead of the Cables. I did not see a need for all that extra cable. I would be nice to see Both the 2.5 and 3.5 to be able to use the Adapters as well.
