Summary
The life-size battleship shell you've asked for is finally here -- this is a realistic life-size 5 inch shell used by many allied ships in WW2 and after, such as the Iowa Class battleships, as well as many other battleships, cruisers, and destroyers. This model includes a fuze dial that can be rotated, just like the real thing.
Background: The United States Navy's 5-inch/38 caliber dual-purpose gun was widely considered the best naval weapon in its class during World War II. Its success stemmed from its versatility, as it was effective against both enemy surface ships and attacking aircraft. Equipped with the advanced Mark 37 fire-control system, the gun was also capable of firing shells with the new proximity fuze, significantly improving its effectiveness against air targets.

Assembly
- Use the square pegs for the associated holes
- Use the round peg for the one round hole at the top of the shell
- For best results, either swap between two plates for each printed plate, or let it cool down and pop off one its own. If you flex the plate and forcefully try to remove the larger parts before they have cooled, it can cause slight warping resulting in a slight gap/crack between the parts when you assemble them. (this is an issue with all 3D prints, not just this one, so you should take that precaution removing any large part)
