Description
The Hallway
The corridor stretched ahead, narrow and slick with moisture. The lantern’s glow flickered against the stone, casting long shadows that danced like specters. The air was thick—too still, too quiet.
The elf knelt, inspecting the floor with practiced grace. His fingers traced faint impressions, his eyes narrowing. Satisfied, he nodded to himself and began to rise—
Then he froze.
A sound. From ahead. Fast. Heavy.
Elf (sharply):
"Something’s coming."
The group snapped into formation. Weapons drawn. Shields raised. Spells whispered. The tension was palpable.
From the darkness, they emerged—three minotaur, charging with terrifying speed. Their hooves thundered against the stone, their snarls echoing like war drums.
Bek and the Barbarian (bracing):
"Hold!"
The elf loosed an arrow. It struck true, partially piercing the hide and armor of the lead beast. It snarled, snapped the shaft off with a jerk of its head.
Then—at the last moment—they veered.
As if choreographed, the minotaur shifted to the side, using the wall to slingshot around the adventurers. They didn’t even glance at the group.
The last beast, trailing behind, cast a fearful glance over its shoulder—past the adventurers, into the darkness.
Wizard (whispering):
"What could frighten them?"
Then they heard it.
Heavy footfalls. Metal scraping. Labored breathing. The sound of something massive and armored, running.
Grips tightened. The elf nocked a magical arrow. The wizard’s fingers twitched with arcane energy. The barbarian clenched his axe.
From the shadows, he emerged.
The Chaos Warrior: Martin Silverthorn.
Blood soaked his armor. His axe dripped ichor—fresh, old, and something in between. His eyes blazed with a twisted joy, his face contorted in a mask of battle-lust.
Barbarian (gulping):
"...Oh no."
The group braced. This was not a fight they wanted. Not now. Not ever.
Then—just as suddenly—Martin’s expression softened. Recognition flickered. He veered to the side, just as the minotaurs had, and jogged past them.
Martin (cheerfully, waving):
"Eh boys! Thanks for leaving them nasties for me! Appreciate it!"
He vanished into the darkness, humming a tune that sounded suspiciously like a war chant.
The adventurers stood in stunned silence.
Wizard (quietly):
"...I think I need a stronger spell."
Elf (still holding his arrow):
"Even the beasts fear him."
Bek (grumbling):
"That axe shouldn’t drip like that. It’s unnatural."
Barbarian (still staring):
"I thought he was a kindred spirit. I was wrong."
They resumed formation, shaken but intact, and pressed forward—deeper into the dungeon, where even monsters fled and madness wore a smile

This is the T Junction for the 1995 tabletop game War Hammer Quest (similar to Hero Quest)
you will need 3 T-junctions. I have made 3 different (almost the same) pieces. for each piece there is a smoother version and a rough version.
I was really not sure that I liked the rough one till I printed a test piece and even then was not really sure. Then I painted it. I think it looks great for a fantasy cave/dungeon floor. Better than the smooth one.
I included 2 test pieces that are 2x2 so you can print them off (and they are still usable pieces) to see what one you like. Or do as I did and just print a mix of different pieces - just because you can!!
I printed all the pieces flat. If you wanted to get rid of the layer lines you could rotate the model and print it at a 45degree angle (make sure you support it to reduce failures)
This was printed with Bambu Matte Grey on a .2mm nozzle @ .1mm layer height. Feel free to use a .4mm and drop the layer height down to .08mm (it will give a warning but will print fine) or keep it at .1mm. Think of it as a “choose your own adventure” and choose the nozzle size and layer height of your own preference.
I did use regular support under the model to keep it a bit cleaner but you do not have to, especially if you are printing on a .4mm nozzle.
I have 2 versions. a rough and smooth cave floor. I may come back and add some with cracked and regular floor tiles but that is in the future
Enjoy!!
