Boost Me (for free)

If you enjoyed the model, a quick like & comment would make my day! Sharing is always appreciated, and if you feel like giving it a boost, that would mean the world to me – thank you so much!

Prepare to dominate the waters with this detailed, Catamaran Warship model! Designed for both impressive display and engaging play, this model features full articulation and a stable, unique hull design.

Key Features

  • Fully Articulated Armaments: Bring the action to life! The barrels of the main cannons, the rockets in the missile launcher, and the barrels of the machine guns can all be moved up and down.
  • Rotational Turrets: The bodies of all weapon systems rotate, allowing you to aim and engage targets from any direction.
  • Catamaran Hull Design: This warship sits on a distinctive catamaran (twin-hull) base, giving it a powerful, modern, and unique look.
  • Aviation Ready: Features a dedicated helipad (H) on the deck for reconnaissance and support operations.

Optimized for Easy Printing

This design is the next evolution in naval modeling. We've completely optimized the structure to ensure an incredibly fast and easy printing experience compared to previous designs.

  • Minimal Support Required: The model is intelligently engineered to use an absolute minimum of support material, saving you time on cleanup and material costs.
  • Quick Build: Get your ship from the print bed to the sea (or shelf!) in a significantly shorter timeframe.

Print it, assemble it, and add this stunning, highly posable warship to your collection today!

Lengths: 10, 15, 20, & 25 cm (9.8 inches) are available.

Thank you for the model. I scaled it to 12cm and printed it with 16mm layers. The print profile is uploaded and everything fit together perfectly

That's awesome—thanks so much for printing the battleship, scaling it to 12cm, and sharing your print profile! Super happy to hear everything fit together perfectly with 0.16mm layers. Really appreciate the feedback and the profile upload—it'll help a lot of other makers.

printed in PETG, turrets came out too loose, will need to glue them down and lose the rotating

Hi @ogre44444, thanks for printing my model and sharing your feedback! Sorry to hear the turrets printed too loose in PETG. I will check again if you let me know which version you printed. A quick solution: Scaling the turrets to 98% (or even 96%) and reprinting them is actually a great idea and should tighten the fit nicely without losing rotation. Thanks again for the print, and hope the battleship still looks awesome on your shelf! 🚢

ah that would have been a good idea, I suspect that would have worked. I know PLA does tolerances better than PETG, but I figured since I planned on this being a water toy PETG would be the better bet. purely as a hypothetical, would a snap-in turret be practical in this sort of design?

Thanks for the update—PETG is a smart pick for a water toy (much more durable and water-resistant than PLA)! Scaling the turrets to 98-96% should fix the fit if you reprint any. Tolerance-wise, you'd aim for ~0.2-0.3 mm clearance on the rotating parts, and when I designed the 25cm version the turrets had 0.1mm clearance. On snap-in turrets: yes, hypothetically very practical! It'd make them more secure for play while keeping full rotation—PETG's flexibility would work well for the clips. I could remix an optional snap-fit version if you're interested. Either way, hope the battleship is having fun in the water! 🚢

nice work, only problem with rocket turret very fragile

Thank you so much for the 5-star rating and your kind feedback—I'm really glad you enjoyed the catamaran warship overall! You're absolutely right—fragility in those thin details usually comes from sneaky print variables (filament moisture, minor clogs, slight under-extrusion, etc.). Here's a quick tip that often makes a big difference: in your slicer, delete/remove everything except the rocket turret parts and print them separately with these settings: Layer height: 0.12 mm Walls/perimeters: 3–4 Infill: 30–40% This gives much stronger layer bonding on the tall/thin sections without adding much weight. If that still doesn't solve it, I can upload a quick reinforced version of the rocket turret (with thicker connections and slightly beefier tubes) in the next few days—just let me know! Thanks again for printing it and for the helpful input—really appreciate it! 🚀⚓
