*The button-type soldering clip was something I had planned to design half a year ago. During this period, I tried various structures, including linkage-type, compression spring, tension spring, gravity-type, integrated hinge-type, and many other attempts. Each test result presented various problems. Recently, when I planned to design a nested spring clip, I found after testing that its structure and functionality were more suitable for a press-type soldering clip. So, I changed my mind and started this design. After more than ten iterations of improvement and testing, refining its functionality and appearance, including various initial versions like left-right sliding, bolt fixing, and separate springs, I finally chose this one. Compared to other styles, it offers advantages such as good stability, simple assembly, fast printing, material saving, and easily replaceable parts. Due to printing direction limitations, the serrations printed horizontally are rounder than those printed vertically, and friction will be reduced. For light soldering clamping, it is perfectly capable. I hope it can help you!
*2025.9.29 update: Fine-tuned some clearances to resolve issues of excessive spring resistance in certain situations (source files and print profiles have all been updated)
