This H0 scale road tunnel is perfect for model railway and diorama layouts. It was 3D printed on an Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro (because the print bed of my A1 mini was too small).

For the lighting, I used 3 mm warm white LEDs, which I roughened on all sides with a file to create a more diffuse light. The LEDs are seated in 3D-printed lamp housings with white covers, which I secured with superglue and then glued into the prepared holes of the tunnel tube.

I painted the tunnel tube with NOCH's “Ivory” acrylic spray. However, I cannot recommend this spray: it had low coverage, was expensive, and I used almost an entire can. For better results, cheaper hardware store spray paint in any color is significantly better.

I printed the lamp housings from gray PETG (as I didn't have gray PLA available). Painting is optional, depending on the desired look.

I painted the road directly onto the base plate of my layout (acrylic paint), adding the markings with a white colored pencil.

This creates a realistic, illuminated H0 tunnel that is easy to replicate.
